On Friday, 6th October, GNPC met with KNUST Administration and presented a cheque of GHS403, 200.This is to provide support for the rehabilitation of toilet facilities at the university. General Manager-Sustainability at GNPC, Dr. Kwame Baah-Nuakoh, who presented the cheque on behalf of GNPC Board, Management and Staff, highlighted the importance of ensuring a healthy environment within the university to ensure students and staff went about their daily activities with the least hassle.
Dr. Baah-Nuakoh also pointed out how this investment falls directly in line with GNPC’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI), with the 3 core pillars being environment and social amenities, economic empowerment, and education & training. In his concluding remarks, he mentioned GNPC’s commitment to improving the livelihood of Ghanaians through local scholarships and other means.
