Dr. K. K. Sarpong, Chief Executive of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), has been honoured as EMINENT CEO OF THE DECADE, by the Initiators of Change Foundation (ICF).
The award was conferred on Dr. Sarpong at the Lifetime in a Portrait Awards of the Decade ceremony, held at the premises of GBC in Accra on 4th April 2021.
The citation read, 'The ICF honours you as EMINENT CEO OF THE DECADE in recognition and appreciation of the positive impact you have made on society and the development of Ghana'.
Other Ghanaians who were honoured for their impact on Ghana’s development include Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia (Vice President, Ghana), Paa Kwesi Ammissah-Arthur (Fmr Vice President), Frema Opare (Chief of Staff), Dr. Ibn Chambas and Yoofi Grant (CE of GIPC).
Dr. Isaac Owusu Mensah (Director of Research at the Presidency and a member of ICF Board of Trustees) presented the award, which was received on Dr. Sarpong’s behalf by David K. Amofah of the GNPC Corporate Affairs Department.
