The Government is to introduce a Gas Policy and its accompanying bill by December, this year, to provide the regulatory framework to address issues in the sector.
The move is to help improve transparency in oil and gas-related operations.
The Minister of Petroleum, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, who revealed this at a summit in Accra, said the government was leaving no stone unturned in developing the country’s gas potential for a sound economic take-off.
