Last Saturday’s GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human regional open meet drew a large following to the El-Wak Stadium.
It was the final of the regional race which featured host region Greater Accra, Eastern and Volta region.
Winners in the four categories- U-10, U-15, U-18 and seniors have qualified for the September 10 final scheduled for the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.
It was Samuel Asare who picked the U-18 ultimate prize after recording a time of 10:90, while Gifty Oku dominated the ladies version with a time of 12: 61.
Nathaniel Boadu, 13.57 seconds picked the U-10 ultimate prize with
Charlotte Dadzie, 13.87 seconds winning the ladies event.
It was TimiOlatuaji 11.69 seconds, who won the men's U-15 event while
Jessica Osei 12.92 seconds, won the ladies edition.
The seniors edition saw Paul Joseph Amoah 10.44 winning with
Ida Mensah, 11.81 dominating the ladies event.
The special 4X100 relay for the Sponsors saw Moringa King emerging the winners.
