Petroleum House, Tema, 7th October, 2016:  The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), headline sponsor of the Black Stars, has called on the team to put up their best performance against their Ugandan counterparts in their maiden World Cup 2018 qualifier match at the Tamale Sports Stadium today, Friday October 7, 2016.

In a goodwill message to the team on Thursday, Alexander Mould, Chief Executive Officer of GNPC said, “You have a track record to protect, having made it consecutively to the last three finals of the global assembly of elite football nations,” adding, “we therefore urge you to stay focused, and give of your best for victory towards an early booking of your ticket to the Russia 2018 World Cup Finals”.

“We are hopeful that you will give Ghanaians the victory that they expect from you over the Cranes of Uganda,” he said.

GNPC additionally urges all football fans to troop to the Tamale Sports Stadium on Friday to give maximum support to the Black Stars.
